SDCIC Took Part in Shenzhen Airport Expansion Project Fire Protection Drill

To further strengthen site safety and strengthen the fire protection awareness of all the project departments, to improve self-rescue and prevention ability and ensure life safety and construction site fire protection with the guideline of “safety and prevention first” and “people-oriented”. At 2:00pm on September 7, 2012, headquarters of Shenzhen Airport Expansion Project organized a fire emergency drill on the T3 terminal building under construction to improve fire protection awareness. General manager of Shenzhen Airport Co., Ltd., chief commander of Shenzhen Airport Fire Services Substation, chief commander of Shenzhen Airport Expansion Project Department, and director of Shenzhen Airport Hospital arrived at the site for instructions, and 13 construction units including China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Co. Ltd. and SDCIC took part in this drill. ??? Every step from catching a fire, putting out the fire by workers with fire extinguisher, arrival of the firefighters at the site, handling of injured person to finally putting out the fire was carried out in order, and all the expected items in the drill were completed in 5 minutes and the planned objective was achieved. ??? General manager of Shenzhen Airport Co., Ltd. and chief commander of Shenzhen Airport Expansion Project gave speeches on the site, expressed their compliments to the effect of this fire protection drill, condoled construction units providing cooperation, and reminded everyone to improve the fire protection awareness in the meantime of paying attention to economic benefit, and strengthened safety input and safety monitoring to assure safety of the final stage of the expansion project and successful completion at the end of the year. ??? SDCIC, as one of the construction units of Shenzhen Airport Expansion Project since its commencement, never engaged in any safety accident. SDCIC had always paid great attention to housekeeping and fire protection and considered safety as the first priority.
