Past President and Chief Executive Officer, QLT Inc., BC, Canada. Dr. Levy was a founding scientist and business associate of QLT.

Dr. Levy is an Officer of the Order of Canada, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, a former President of the Canadian Federation of Biological Sciences.

Formerly a member of the National Advisory Board of Science and Technology and Chair of the Premier of British Columbia´s Advisory Council for Science and Technology, she was awarded the Gold Medal from the Science Council of British Columbia.

Dr. Levy serves as a Director for a number of early-stage biotechnology companies as well as the Working Opportunity Fund, a venture capital company based in British Columbia.

She has received numerous honours and awards. Dr. Levy received a PhD in Immunology from the University of London.
