The intellectual property ownership of Welichem, resulting from its discoveries and associated successful development programs, comprises of a portfolio of over 30 patents and/or patent applications to patent authorities in all the major markets. These patent/applications provide coverage related to technologies from novel chemical molecules and pharmaceutical compositions to methods of production and utilization of bioactive agents. To date, nine patents have been issued and the remainders are at different stages of national and international prosecution.
