Dr. Chen is a founder of Welichem and has extensive research experience on the nematode-bacterium symmbiotic relationship.

Prior to joining Welichem, Dr. Chen was a Research Scientist in microbiology and biochemistry at Terragen Discovery Inc. He has numerous scientific publications and patents to his credit. Dr. Chen graduated with an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Simon Fraser University.
